More Than 90 Days Since Application Submitted
- The license/denial is mailed to the address listed on your application form. If your address has changed, or we accidently entered your address incorrectly, the US Post Office cannot deliver the envelope but must return it to BCI marked undeliverable.
- If it has been more than 90 days since a satisfactorily completed application was submitted to your local law enforcement agency and you have not received the license or a denial letter, you can send a letter to the BCI-CWL at PO Box 1054, Bismarck ND 58502 explaining that you have not received your license. Include your full name, date of birth, and mailing address in the letter. Be sure to write “License inquiry" on the front of the envelope.
Sorry, we cannot accept telephone or e-mail inquiries or respond to the letters. State law prohibits the BCI from providing information about the status of an application to anyone, including the applicant. Thank you
