Law Enforcement FAQ's

1. I need another copy of my report. How do I get another?

You may request another copy by sending a letter on agency letterhead, a fax on agency letterhead, an e-mail on your agency e-mail system.

2. What do these results mean?

You may contact the Crime Laboratory by sending a letter on agency letterhead, a fax on agency letterhead, or by an e-mail on your agency e-mail system.  The Crime Laboratory scientists will not discuss testing results over the telephone unless they are able to verify the telephone call is with a peace officer or law enforcement agency.  If the Crime Laboratory is able to verify the individual who has requested an explanation of the results is a peace officer or authorized representative of a law enforcement agency, the analyst will discuss the results with the officer or authorized representative by telephone. The Crime Laboratory makes this determination based on prior contacts with the officer or representative or by making a call back to the agency and requesting the officer.
