Natural Resources and
Indian Affairs Division
The Natural Resources & Indian Affairs Division is responsible for legal issues involving agriculture, water, oil and gas, environment, game and fish, and state-owned land and minerals. It provides both general counsel and litigation services for state agencies with responsibilities for these resources. It also provides advice to state officials on Indian issues.
State law does not permit the Attorney General or his staff to give legal advice or provide legal services to members of the public or private businesses.
